ANAHEIM DUCKS NEWS
It is now the beggining of September, 2006. For us, this means that the NHL preseason starts real soon!
During the offseason, the Ducks acquired a tough defenceman, Chris Pronger from the Edmonton Oilers. Alongside Ducks captain Scott Niedermayor, he will make the Ducks a force to be reckoned with in 2006-07.
On September 18th, the Anaheim Ducks will play their first preseason game in their all-new logo and jerseys versus the Los Angeles Kings.
Ducks end of season record for 2005-06 was 42W, 27L, 12OTL. They finished with 98 points and were 3rd in the Pacific Division, 6th in the Western Conference and 12th overall in the NHL. They made it to the Western Conference Finals, and were beaten in 5 games.
Previous game results: 27/5/2006, 2-1 L Vs Edmonton Oilers
Next game: 18/9/2006, VS Los Angeles Kings (preseason), 7:05pm PST
